Service Description

Equine Facilitated Learning has allowed Coulee 6 Equestrian to offer services to those who want to make a connection with not only equine partners but with the variety of members here such as Bob the donkey, Lucky the free roaming pony, Dogs Hercules and Polar and 3 amazing mouse catchers that all take part in giving space and learning about what it means to encourage love and respect and communication between species. Equine Facilitated Learning provides programs for schools as part of their learning based curriculum. We are proud to be a Provider for RockyView school Division to help students find a space to share our dream of finding a connection within ourselves and our animals that will bring so many benefits to our daily lives. We are also able to provide service for those families with children with special needs working with FSCD (Family Support for Children with Disabilities) The horses help develop both fine and gross motor skills as well we have seen huge improvements in speech and communication. Offering both mounted and unmounted sessions we are excited to offer time with the horses to those who want to meet their goals whether personal or therapy driven.
